Learn to Ride
Do you want to learn to cycle but have been putting it off? Maybe you feel too old or self-conscious? Or you’re scared of falling off?
Whatever your age or experience, our proven training method will get you started on your cycling journey, overcoming any barriers along the way.
Our Adult Learn to Ride course takes you through five progressive stages, from gliding and balancing to pedalling and handling. By breaking the process into manageable steps and keeping a relaxed pace, we’ll have you riding independently before you know it.
Our course will ignite your passion for all things cycling – whether that’s nipping to the shops or a day-long bike ride – and get you excited for the freedom and joy that cycling offers.
Course details:
Our adult Learn to Ride course is delivered as a single 2.5 hour session. We find that the vast majority of adult beginners will be cycling independently within the first 90 minutes, with the remaining time spent honing control and handling skills. Very occasionally, an additional session may be recommended to increase confidence and experience, and to complete the training.
Our training is private/121 and tailored to your needs.

The session takes place outside, in one of London’s centrally located parks. Simply select your preferred park when you book.

Clissold Park

A training bike and a helmet are provided for the course.
We like to transition riders onto a Santander/TfL hire bike during the session to enable you to easily continue your practise. We’ll also happily advise on a bike to buy, or help get an existing bike ship-shape ready.
Following on from the course, we are always on hand to support you via WhatsApp as you start on your cycling adventure.
